Toasted marshmallow is having a moment this summer—and if  you're a cold brew coffee lover, this is the combo you  didn’t know you needed. 

 

Sweet, slightly smoky, and  totally nostalgic, this toasted marshmallow  cold brew coffee brings bonfire vibes to your cup. And with the right Zavida coffee blend as your base,  it’s even better than dessert.

Marshmallow is all about softness, warmth, and that perfect caramelized edge. Pair it with the smooth, bold chill of  cold brew coffee and  you’ve got a flavour combo  that’s sweet, rich, and refreshingly cool—all at once. 

 

And yes, you can totally  make  cold brew at home.

How to Make  Cold Brew Coffee (The Easy Way) 

 

You’ll Need: 

 

  • 1 cup coarsely ground Zavida coffee 

  • 4 cups cold filtered water 

  • Mason jar or pitcher 

  • Coffee filter or fine mesh strainer 

 

Instructions: 

 

  • Combine coffee and water in your jar. Stir. 

  • Cover and refrigerate for 12–18 hours. 

  • Strain into a clean container. Keep chilled for up to 5 days. 

 

In a rush? If you  don’t have time to steep  cold brew overnight, just brew a strong pot of coffee, let it cool, and use it as a quick  iced coffee base. It  won’t be quite as smooth as  cold brew—but it still works in a pinch! 

 

Toasted  Marshmallow  Cold Brew Topping 

 

The magic’s in the finish. You can keep it simple or go full sundae-style. 

 

Option 1: Toasted  Marshmallow Cream Topper 

  • 1/4 cup marshmallow fluff or cream 

  • 1 tbsp milk or oat milk 

  • Pinch of sea salt (optional) 

 

Mix until pourable. Spoon over your iced cold brew. Finish with a toast using a kitchen torch if you have one. 

 

Option 2: Toasted  Marshmallow Garnish 

  • Toast a few marshmallows in a ramekin or heat-safe dish using your oven or air fryer. 

  • Once golden and gooey,  spoon it over your  cold brew. 

 

Optional:  roll in crushed graham crackers for that s’mores touch.
