EASY PEACH SYRUP ICED TEA RECIPE
We’ve simplified traditional peach iced tea by replacing peach puree with flavored peach syrup, making preparation a breeze. Our sugar-free Peach Flavor Shots contain zero sugar, allowing you to customize the amount of sugar in this delicious summer drink.

Refreshing and Easy
Picture this: the summer is summering, and the only sounds to be heard are of your faraway neighbor’s lawnmower and the crickets singing the same chorus over again. Your plastic lawn chair is digging its checkered pattern into your bare thighs. The sweaty asphalt on the road ahead seems to have trapped heat and pollen in an oven-like atmosphere. Your latest summer read lays on the armchair, perpetually dog-eared on the third page. You won’t be reading today. You won’t be doing anything, today. It’s a picture-perfect time for a crisp cold glass of a Southern classic with a twist, peach iced tea.
If you do decide to do something today, let it be this fresh, clean and thirst-quenching peach iced tea. This recipe is perfect for those unbearably hot days where you need something quick and low effort: you can easily make big batches and store it in your fridge, and the addition of orange blossom adds a unique twist to this classic from the American south.
Why Use Our Sugar-Free Peach Syrup?
Our peach syrup is highly concentrated so you only need a few pumps to make enough tea for your whole family, and it contains no sugar which gives you the freedom to naturally sweeten your iced tea should you choose to. It’ll last years on your shelf, compared to homemade peach syrup that is labor intensive and only stores for about a week in the fridge. In the sweltering heat of July, the last thing you want to do is spend hours behind a stove top every week for some iced tea. We got you.

Where to Find It
You can purchase our Peach Flavor Shots on our website, and you can discover our large range of flavors in our Flavor Shots collection - from fruity pineapple and mango syrups to warm French vanilla and salted caramel, you’re sure to find your new partner in crime in the kitchen.
A Little Prep Goes a Long Way
For best results, we recommend starting a tea cold brew a few hours before serving. Simply place your tea leaves in cold water and allow to steep for 6-8 hours. This will ensure you end up with a smooth tea without all the bitterness. You don’t have to, though. This iced tea is just as good made with a normal hot water extraction.

How to Make Peach Iced Tea with Peach Syrup
SERVES: 4 PEOPLE (4 x 8oz)
INGREDIENTS
TEA:
2 tbsp black tea (1tbsp loose leaf tea = 1 teabag)
4 cups water, cold
6-8 pumps Zavida peach syrup
1-1/2 tbsp honey (or natural sweetener of choice)
2 tsp orange blossom
A few sprigs of mint
Knob of fresh ginger, roughly chopped
A dash of allspice
GARNISH:
Peach slices
Slices of fresh ginger
A few sprigs of mint
A dash of allspice
NOTE: You can substitute black tea for green tea. Herbal teas are not recommended for this recipe because they have a much more subtle flavor.
NOTE: You can substitute honey for the natural sweetener of your choice. Maple syrup and cane sugar are wonderful options here.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all the ingredients for the tea in a large pitcher and stir well. Place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours, or overnight, depending on how strong you want your tea. NOTE: If you choose to make a quicker extraction with hot water, try to steep the tea no longer than 4-5 minutes or it can get bitter. Simply remove the teabags or strain once you are happy with the flavor.
- Once brewed, remove tea bags or strain out loose-leaf tea and transfer to a pitcher. NOTE: if your tea is too strong, add ice cubes directly to the pitcher. As they melt, they will dilute your tea.
- Serve in a cold glass over ice. Garnish with mint, ginger and a dash of allspice.
