Cinnamon Christmas Cookie Recipe

Cinnamon Christmas Cookie Recipe


Oven: Preheat to 175°C (350°F).

  • 1 egg
  • 7 tbsp softened butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • ½ cup chopped raisins


  • In a large bowl, add the sugar and beat while adding the softened butter until light and fluffy.
  • Continue beating the mixture while adding the egg.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder and cinnamon, and add mixing in well.
  • Add the nuts and raisins to taste. Feel free to experiment with the type and amount added.
  • On greased or parchment lined baking sheets, drop spoonfuls of dough ensuring they are not too close together.
  • Bake on center rack for approximately 8 minutes.
